Ashley Freer

President

Named agency president in January 2024, Ashley nurtures client relationships and strategy, while driving agency growth and operations. She first joined Balcom in 2009 and soon rose to leadership, directing a team of account managers and driving high-impact strategies for clients including Cook Children's Health Care System, Dairy MAX, Mrs. Renfro's salsa and Sinclair Oil. Originally from Georgia, Ashley previously worked for organizations including Ogilvy Public Relations, Atlanta History Center and BlueLinx Corporation (NYSE: BXC). With 25 years of marketing experience, she has been consistently recognized for her career as well as her community impact: She was one of the Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 in 2013 and was named among Fort Worth's 400 most influential people by Fort Worth Inc. magazine five times from 2020 to 2024. A member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Ashley sat on the boards of Fort Worth Sister Cities International and of Mayfest Inc., is a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth's 2015 class and served as the 90th president of the Junior League of Fort Worth (the ninth-largest League in the world) from 2019 to 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Lee University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
