French Tribe Global member, Dagre, introduces Bilobay.com , a new carbon emissions calculator and off-setting tool dedicated to communication

Dagre, the French Tribe Global agency, has launched Bilobay.com, the first online carbon calculator designed to help anyone deliver eco-friendly, carbon neutral communication action, whether it be a fully integrated campaign or a simple brochure. The new service developed by a privately run, French start-up operating out of Strasbourg, is aimed at helping provide cutting edge services for an international clientele, with Tribe Global members set to be amongst the first to benefit from the service.

Bilobay.com allows subscribers to calculate emissions over the whole life cycle of advertising and communications campaigns, encompassing print, outdoor, online, TV and radio, factoring in design, production, delivery and recycling stages of the cycle. The tool then also suggests off-setting operations – recognized by the VCS Standard and the Gold Standard and chosen by the EPA and the International Union for Conservation of Nature – in line with each advertiser’s individual aspirations.

Key benefits of the tool include tips for reducing the carbon footprint of any communications strategy and methods of tactical delivery, as well as helping users decide on the most eco-friendly forms of campaign delivery from the point of inception.
