Tribe Global has appointed Belgium-based Greetje Demuelenaere as new Managing Director. She is taking over from Ian Wright, who led the international independent agency network since its inception in 2012. Greetje is no stranger to Tribe Global, as she has been bringing her entrepreneurial spirit and innovation expertise as part of Tribe’s board for three years, and as a Member for 12 years.
Greetje Demuelenaere is a seasoned marketing expert and co- founder of the Belgium-based comma, brand strategists and the human talent strategist of Peace for Talent. With her passion for coaching and innovation, she successfully transitioned from marketer to brand strategist to a fully-fledged entrepreneur. She also serves on various boards and is known for her deep commitment to developing young talent and her innovative approach to marketing and branding in Belgium and beyond.
The appointment was announced at the Tribe Global network’s vibrant three-day Global Meeting in London this September, which brought together over 120 marketing and communications agencies, businesses, and brands from all over the world.
Greetje stated: “It is an absolute honour to become Tribe Global’s new Managing Director. I am grateful to build on the foundations of continuity, trust and stability under Ian’s strong leadership and he could not have been more helpful in sharing his insights and experience during the hand-over period. Now the time has come to add my personal touch and new ideas to our vibrant community. My vision for Tribe Global is simple: to keep growing, to welcome new Members and to support independent agencies with connection and inspiration.”
Greetje is determined to instil her dedicated passion and an authentic sense of wonder. ”I am deeply committed to help shape the future of Tribe Global. I want to engage in open and honest dialogue to discover what our Members truly need and expect. At the same time, I am eager to strive and make Tribe Global a quality network that is recognised around the world - a symbol of excellence and added value for everyone who is a part of it.”
