Various independents are coming together to rally support for themselves and their peers.
This movement began with Billups Americas CEO David Krupp, who wrote an article for Ad Age with the idea of creating a Small Agency Monday, similar to American Express' Small Business Saturday. David has now made good on his promise to bring forth this movement, asking brands and businesses to recognise a small or independent agency by letting them test their grit on the third Monday of September.
As the world emerges from the pandemic, it’s critical that small and independent agencies continue to advance their businesses on behalf of the brands they service.
As an independent agency network, Tribe Global is proud to be part of this movement. In a statement of support, Tribe Global's Managing Director Ian Wright says
"We fully support this great initiative, which has been created by our friends at Billups. Working with small independent agencies, I see day in, day out the expertise and value that they bring to their clients. They are passionate people who are entrepreneurial in their approach. The freedom of a small independent agency allows talent to flourish and in return delivers business results for their clients. I would urge all clients to give a small independent agency a chance. You’ll find it rewarding and refreshing. Tribe Global are very proud to be part of this initiative."
