Savic is a top Belgian player in the pet accessories market, ranging from litter boxes to metal cages. To better convey their company values, Savic had a fresh take on their branding.

Challenge

Savic is a resounding name among pet shops and distributors of all pet essentials around the world. To grow even further in that B2B market and to support their international partners even better in selling their brand, Savic carried out a positioning and branding exercise together with comma. For the postioning exercise, employees were surveyed of course, but crucial partners were also given the chance to give their input. Based on that input, the new visual style was established.

Solution

The workshop made Savic's distinctive strengths clear. With more than 70 years of experience, Savic is the reliable go-to partner. Also, almost all products are produced locally, at the large production site in the Kortrijk region. With that, comma went to work. On top of the distinctive blue, the new branding now contains easily recognisable and refreshing style elements that are also reflected in the logo. The new house style is used in all forms of communication: on the packaging, the new website, in e-mail templates ... and now forms one nicely integrated whole.

Results

The new house style radiates warmth and trust and thus perfectly matches Savic's core values. Comma collected all style guidelines in a handy brand book so that Savic's team and partners can continue working independently. In line with the new house style, Savic will soon also publish their new catalogue.
