Celebrating Women Across the Tribe Global Network
Mar 8, 2026
International Women’s Day offers an opportunity to recognise the people who shape our industry and the perspectives that help move it forward. This year, Tribe Global is spotlighting women from across the network who are contributing to the future of marketing and communications in their regions and organisations.
To mark the occasion, we asked one simple question:
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering our industry?
The responses highlight practical insight drawn from real leadership experience across different markets, disciplines, and agency environments. Together, they reflect the depth of expertise across the Tribe Global community and the shared commitment to supporting the next generation of talent.
Leading With Curiosity, Confidence and Perspective
Across the network, many of the responses emphasised the importance of curiosity and continuous learning in a fast-moving industry.
Stéphanie Debuisson from Concept Factory encourages emerging professionals to remain proactive in building their expertise and sharing it with others:
“Stay curious and commit to continuous learning. In our industry, expertise is built every day. Make yourself visible on the topics you master and don't wait to be given the floor. And when facing challenges, always come with solution-driven thinking, that's how credibility is earned.”
For Coralie Lutz at Dagré , success begins with focusing on talent and personal growth rather than titles alone:
“Chase your talent, not just your title. Invest in your skills, surround yourself with people who challenge you, and remember that consistency and integrity will take you further than perfection ever will.”
This emphasis on curiosity and growth also resonates with Sisana De Kruijf from Billups , who highlights the value of learning from others while continuing to question and refine your own thinking:
“Be curious enough to challenge your own thinking and ideas, but also humble enough to let others refine them. If you want to understand what success and character really mean, look at the top women in our industry. Don't just focus on what they've achieved, but pay attention to how they lead and how they treat others. And don't stress about having it all figured out right from the start. This industry is evolving, so stay curious and stay genuinely interested in your industry - that's how you will build real value.”
The Power of Perspective
Another common theme is the importance of embracing individual perspectives and recognising the value they bring to creative industries.
Mariska Van Den Belt from SteamTalmark offers a powerful reminder to lead with authenticity:
“Don't be one of the guys — embrace your female gaze. The world needs much more of it."
Carolyn Izzo of CIIC PR also highlights the importance of trusting your own viewpoint while building meaningful relationships across the industry:
“Lead with confidence and curiosity, knowing your perspective is your strength. Build meaningful relationships, stay adaptable in a constantly evolving landscape, and never underestimate the power of your intuition. Most importantly, support other women along the way. Our industry grows stronger when we elevate one another.”
Altermark 's Claudia Damas adds, "Seek out the intersections nobody else is standing at — between media and technology, between local markets and global brands, between data and human connection. That's where the real opportunity lives, and right now, this industry needs women who are brave enough to claim it. Do it with kindness, curiosity, care and a smile on your face, that will make the difference."
Shaping the Future Together
Many leaders also spoke about the importance of courage, voice, and community as women build their careers and contribute to the future of the industry.
Marlina Lim from Leverate Group encourages the next generation to step forward with purpose and confidence:
“On this International Women's Day, my message to the next generation of women entering our industry is simple: believe in the strength of your voice and the value of your perspective. Lead with passion, stay curious, and don't hesitate to take your seat at the table. When women grow with purpose and courage, we don't just build careers—we help shape the future of this industry.”
And sometimes, the most valuable advice is simply to keep experimenting and learning along the way. Liliana Silva from Grupo Doble Ele reminds future leaders that creativity requires openness to mistakes:
“The more willing you are to make mistakes, the more often you'll hit the mark. We're not working under an operating table, we're working with ideas, and ideas are never wrong.”
A Network Built on Shared Learning
Together, these reflections demonstrate the strength of the Tribe Global network: a community where experience, perspective, and encouragement are shared across borders and disciplines.
By amplifying the voices of women across the network, we not only celebrate their achievements but also help inspire the next generation of leaders entering our industry.
